A Bloggers Review: Wibiya Bar
You may have noticed the new bar at the bottom of the screen when you visit this page, or you may have not seen it. Check it out, I'll wait. OK, seen it now? It's a great new service from Wibiya. I'll review it's features from left to right. Here's a picture of an earlier version of the bar.
- Search menu, choose whether you want to search this site or Google, with text entry field.
- A translation menu, for our international and non English speaking visitors.
- Recent posts menu, easy way to find a recent post.
- Post randomizer button, useful if you are not sure what you are SYKO about today.
- Games feature, for if you get really bored and want to play some web games right here on Syko.org.
- RSS Feed subscribe button, which allows you to subscribe without leaving the page.
- Share button to share on Facebook, Twitter, Delicious, StumbleUpon, Digg, BuzzUp!, MySpace, FriendFeed, Technorati, Google Bookmarks and Windows Live
- Facebook Fan Pages "tab" where you can become a fan and see the latest activity on the Facebook fan page.
- Facebook community "tab" where you can connect you Facebook and chat in the community shout-box.
- The Twitter "tab" where you can see recent tweets about SykoNews and Syko.org and follow us on twitter.
- The Wibiya Notifier, where the staff here at can add little notes to the reader about changes or recnet developments about the site.
- The hide button, for some of you this may be your favorite spot on the bar.
